Last night I came up with an idea. So here it goes;

For people who like details

If elected as Party President of IPC I plan to insert a "Special Events Chain" that will happen once or twice a week. It will consist of some sort of game/fun event with a little bit of erepublik politics mixed in sometimes. This event can be published either on the forums or in a newspaper article in-game. It all depends on the event. An example of an event like these would be:

'mystery article puzzle'. You would need to search the media for a recent article that we hint at. We'd give you three clues, let's say 'Funny Homeless and 26 comments'. You would then need to give me this link in a reply to the topic:

There can be ways to earn money with this. If someone needs another clue they can pay for it with like 30 cad or something.

There can also be some events (about 10%) that cost admission to enter. All these events would be able to be watched by spectators for free. The reason would be that we don't have time to fit everyone in. An example would be a chess tourney.

All funds from these events would go either to funding for other events or to an MU like Boomers' Academy or ours if we make one.

For people who don't wanna read all that

If I get elected I will plan fun events once or twice a week for everyone to participate if they want to. Some (10%) may cost admission but can be watched for free.

Good point bulldog! And mason the IRC is not just for party issues, it's also to get to know others better. If we have scheduled discussions about debatable topics in eRepublik we could get somewhere new...





So now it is 100% in my plans to have scheduled IRC times. Whoever wants to come is advised to come then It shall be once a week and the topics will be set for the start and we can all go on tangents and whatever. Eventually by doing this most people will find a friend in the party and can share their opinions, even if it's just with one person. It's not really necessary to be honest. Just get people to get on the forums, IRC is optional. If people can't find time to go on the forums why would they go on IRC.

Yeah that would be really smart. But then we would look kinda bossy and we'd have to figure out time zones and stuff. Crazy

you didn't tell him what to do that was the wrong thing to say but what i meant was that you trust him to start the MU so you give him the responsibly of organizing one
like in my old party we had one guy in our cabanit that would handle the party's fiances, the PP didn't tell him how to do it but put him in charge of the fiances so he could do other stuff. the PP can't do it all but he can tell who to do what
